Nymphenburg Palace

The Nymphenburg Palace used to be the summer residence of the Bavarian Prince Electors and Kings. And here, our fairy tale king Ludwig II was born. His birth room is part of my guided tour through the palace. Of course, the Gallery of Beauty of Ludwig I - a great "connoisseur of women" - is a must.

Furthermore, in the palace, there is the Marstallmuseum (historical and royal carriages), the Bäuml Collection (porcelain museum) and the museum Mensch und Natur (Man and Nature) where the famous brown bear Bruno has found "his place".

I also would like to give you a guided tour through the park. There is the Amalienburg - a Rococo jewel by François Cuvilliés - and the Botanical Garden which counts among the biggest and most beautiful of its kind in Europe.
