3. Reich, Resistance against Hitler and the Dachau Memorial Site

The brown terror has its origin in Munich (not in Berlin!). And in 1935 Adolf Hitler declared Munich to the "Capital of the Movement". Here,
  • the Nazi party (NSDAP) was founded in the Hofbräuhaus
  • the Hitler Putsch was turned down by the Bavarian police
  • the concentration camp Dachau - which was the model camp for the Nazi terror for the whole Germany - was founded
  • books were burned on the Königsplatz
  • the Munich Treaty was signed
  • Hitler almost got killed by a bomb in the Bürgerbräukeller
  • the resistance group "The White Rose" was executed by the Nazis
  • more than 2/3 of the downtown were completely destroyed by bombs
For many years I have made guided tours about the 3. Reich, Resistance against Hitler and the Dachau Memorial Site (former concentration camp). As a licensed guide of the Dachau Memorial Site (since 2012) I offer guided tours there. This tour can be also in combination with the "Munich in the 3. Reich and the Resistance against National Socialism" tour. Just for the Dachau tour you need at least 4 hours. The minimum time of the tour "Munich in the 3. Reich and Resistance against Hitler" is 2 hours.
