Royal Residence

The Royal (winter) Residence was built - starting out from a medieval castle from the 14th century - over 500 years until it reached its size of today. It is considered Germany's most important reconstruction work after the Second World War (Out of 23,000 m˛ of the roof surface only 50 m˛ were intact.).

Nowadays, the Royal Residence is a museum with more than 100 rooms, a treasure chamber and the Cuvillé Theater which is considered the world's most beautiful Rococo theater.

I gladly give you a guided overview tour- which is perfectly apt to be part of a city tour - through one of the most beautiful royal residences of Europe.
